Over the course of these few months, I have found myself editing more and more. The first being my Cinematic tea video which has been uploaded on my youtube channel. Other than that I have taken small clips of my everyday routine and color graded them, since my project requires a lot of drastic color grading, with a mix of black and white and even blue and red added. I am interested in increasing the ' Faded Film' effect for the last part where it shows the happiness of the couple to signify that this is not permanent as it gives the fading effect. Furthermore, transitions! transitions!transitions! i see the importance of transitioning from shot to shot which either can be sudden of very subtle, mine is a mix of the two. Also video effects, while i play with video effects like blurring I am making notes as to how I am going to film each scene to add what effect. Whilst choosing the actors, I looked for people who understood and felt the story. After taking almost a month of meeting and auditioning people, I came across Mustafa ( male role) and Sukaina (female role) who both understood and felt the story. I was especially fascinated by Sukaina's features, her eyes in specific.

I found inspiration from a variety of things, but the main inspirations I took was from other music videos. Hello readers, my name is Fatima Ali and I am an A' levels Media Studies Student. This blog is to record the progress of the Music Promotional Package which includes: The Music Video, DIGI Pack and Website. I am very passionate for Media, specially film making. I did an internship at Black Box Sounds which is a local production house which does filming, marketing and even event management, through the internship I got a inside view of the media industry which made me sure that I want to pursue this. Furthermore, last year I went to the Media Program hosted by Northwestern University in Qatar. Where I learned a lot, met amazing people and learned more about film making, I wrote and directed a short filming about anxiety.

Mansionair is a relatively new band originated in Australia, they're style of music is ' Electronic Indie' which is personally my favorite type- separately and combined- Their song Easier was a single which was first released in 2016, they re-released it in collaboration with another recent group known as SHAED in 2019. SHAED are an American Indie Pop band, their breakthrough song was ' trampoline' which they later sang in collaboration with Zayn Malik- former One Direction member-  The song Easier by Mansionair feat SHAED is considered to be in the genre of electric.
